Mu pakoh gapo?

Election Day is just two days away. And I’m feeling quite excited because this is going to be my first time voting. Last four years terlambat register so I missed out the opportunity, still remembered that my mom labeled me as an irresponsible Malaysian citizen :( So this time around, I’m going to use my right to vote for the good of our mankind.. haha, poyo gile! :p Frankly guys, talking about politics are not really my thing. I would rather talk about my children, or the new pair of Giordano pants I just bought (gosh, it’s so gorgeous I just have to mention it here). But since everybody around me is talking about nothing but politics, especially my Kelantanese officemates.. I kinda get bitten by the bugs too. All this while, I’ve been exposed to lots of BN’s campaigns because I only read pro-gov newspaper, I only watch pro-gov tv news, my mom in-law is the Timbalan Ketua Wanita UMNO kat kampung, and my mom is a gov servant herself so mestilah pro-gov jugak kan. But recently bila dah dekat nak mengundi ni my officemate started buying Harakah and Siasah, and we also watched a lot of opposition campaign over the internet especially on uTube. After receiving so much shocking revelations and exposures, probably I kena buat sembahyang istikharah la esok minta petunjuk dari Allah because right now, I find it so hard to decide on who’s right and who’s wrong. Hey, maybe you guys should check out some of these videos too. Go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFRA0fwXcnk and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COm3D6FDmwY . And please be advised that I takde niat langsung nak menghasut or whatsoever. Takde pekdah pun. It’s just that to me, all of this information is knowledge and definitely knowledge is the only thing that can help us makes a fair judgement and wise decision, tak gitu? Oh, and speaking about niat, my husband just forward me an SMS of what was called Niat Mengundi and it goes like this; “Sahaja aku mengundi ikut Barisan pangkah Bulan kerana Keadlian”. Hehe.. quite funny. Ok, got to go. Selamat Mengundi Malaysia!

Laser??

Photo16 I am practically rabun from the day I was born. And when the rabunness was detected at the age of 6, I started wearing glasses. When I was 18, my mom decided that it was time for me to transform from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan (keh keh!) so she generously sponsored my first pair of contact lenses. Finally, my life was free from the hideous glasses! I happily get rid of it and never wear it again… until recently…

My permanent contact lenses expired and I bought a new disposable pair from England Optical. After a while, my eye started feeling uncomfortable, pedih2 and sometimes itchy. I thought that I’m allergic to the disposable lenses so I changed back to permanent lenses. But still, none of the problems solved so the only option I had at that time was… to wear glasses again. Uhuk.. uhuk… mencinye, tak suke!!

That was the moment I decided to have my eye checkup for Laser Surgery. Gosh, the word SURGERY itself freaks the hell out of me! But then again, no pain… no gain, right? (Sort of, I guess.. sebab org kata laser surgery ni tak sakit pun. Ye ke?) So.. I went to Optimax, got a basic eye checkup and the result was: Mata anda sesuai untuk dilaser, yahoo! Dah suke dah sket. But due to different thickness of the cornea, I can’t have the same surgery for both eyes. Right eye kena buat Intralasik, left eye Lasek (tak ingat la apa bezanya tapi Intralasik tu lagi cepat recover la). After the eye test, I get to sit one to one dengan sorg mamat Optimax ni yg dengan lajunya menerangkan prosedur2 di atas & dgn lancarnya menjawab soalan2ku yang pelbagai. Habis semua, kitorang pun balik.

But two months later, until today, I still haven’t decided whether to get the laser surgery or not. I guess some of the factors that bother me are
: (1) Due to my high power, there’re possibilities that I might get rabun back after a few years. (2) My mom; yang generously sponsored my first pair of contact lenses 10 years ago, kali ini membangkang hasrat hatiku dengan berkata, “Pakai spec aje la Long...”  Cheh, patah semangatku. Tapi heran jugak sebab dia pun pernah laser mata few years ago. Hhmm...

So now... I'm in dilemma.  I need help! Advice me please. Anybody?

Beli rumah

100_1954We just purchased a house. Developer kata 3 storey but I think it's more like a 2 1/2 storey because the upper floor ada 1 bilik je. Hopefully siap tahun depan. Mula-mula nak beli ragu2 sket sebab rumah ni agak kecik 18' x 65', and I also feel that the design of the internal layout can be improved. Nevertheless, I think the location is superb because: (1) Dekat dengan rumah Ummi: Ini yg paling penting sebab kalau seminggu tak jumpa rasa mcm nak nangis (2) Belakang Giant: Takdela walking distance tapi sgt dekat.. very convenient (3) Near cemetary Abah: Kalau rindu boleh jalan je gi tgk dia (4) Opposite sekolah: Save duit bas.. hehe (5) Kawasan Melayu: Very important to us; and last but not least (6) Established neighbourhood: Kemudahan banyak & gerai makan sgtlah berlambak. Banyak lagi nak cerita sebenarnya tapi kena gi Mindef plak. To be continued...

The game they played

I just arrived from Teluk Intan last nite, 11 pm. Oh dear.. penat tak hilang lagi ni. The trip, which usually takes about 2 1/2 hours, lasted 5 hours yesterday dua to unforeseen circumstances and irresistable temptation ;p - berhenti makan @ Garden Seafood, Tg. Malim (their Butter Prawn and Homemade Tofu are HEAVENLY), bumper to bumper traffic @ PLUS Highway caused by few car accidents & tanah runtuh (Abang, more work order for u coming up) and not forget to mention the cats and dogs rain. Somehow, I think the cats and the dogs manage to find their way into our car and possessed our two little angels - they fought endlessly all the way from perak sampai KL. Lots of screaming, scratching, hitting and crying.. tension mama! Menambahkan lagi kepada ketensionan mama adalah the few 'interesting' game they manage to thick of to entertain themselves. Game No. 1 : The motorcycle game. Poor mama becomes the motorcycle and both of them sit on my lap. At first it's quite fun tapi bila kaki mama dah setat sakit, penderitaanku pun bermula. Game No. 2 : Main beranak-beranak. Yes guys, believe or not, this angels played the game of giving birth. Inspired by Discovery Health and Living yang mama terover watch one time ago, Dania or Nafis will take turn laying down in their 'hospital' and give birth. Nafis, when he's 'done', will innocently said "Kakak, Nafis dah beranak". Oh God, what have I done? Game No. 3 : Main basuh b*rak. Ala, yg ni geli la nak cerita. Tapi you all boleh agak la kan how the game is played; involve squatting, pooping & washing up. Nasib baik tak wash up each other's.

Finally we arrived home dan hanya Allah sahaja yang mengetahui betapa leganya hati mama dan ayah. Kalau lama lagi dalam kereta tu, ntah ape lagi la idea anak-anak mama ni. i guess this is what they call... CREATIVE THINKING? Well, to rest my mind in peace, let's just put it that way :)
